Terms of Service

Effective Date: August 27, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PressAnalytica ("the Service"), operated at pressanalytica.net, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

"We," "us," and "our" refer to PressAnalytica. "You" and "your" refer to the individual or entity accessing or using the Service.

2. Description of Service

PressAnalytica is an AI-powered content intelligence platform for WordPress publishers. The Service connects to your Google Analytics 4 property (via OAuth) and your WordPress site (via the WordPress REST API) to provide editorial dashboards, AI-driven insights, and a natural language reporting assistant called TARA.

PressAnalytica does not install any plugins, scripts, or code on your WordPress site. We access your publicly available content metadata through the standard WordPress REST API.

3. Account Registration

To use PressAnalytica, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Plans & Billing

PressAnalytica does not currently offer self-serve plans or published pricing. Access is arranged directly with us, and each install is configured against your publication before it runs.

Where a paid engagement is agreed, its scope, fees and billing terms are set out in writing between you and us at the time. Those written terms govern the commercial arrangement; nothing on this site constitutes an offer, a quotation, or a commitment to any particular price.

5. Cancellation

Where a paid engagement is in place, you may end it in accordance with the written terms agreed for it. On cancellation, links and changes already published to your site remain in place and continue to work, and your content is left as it stands. There is no plugin to remove.

Refunds, where applicable, are governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Access the Service through automated means (bots, scrapers) without our written consent
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized third parties
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written permission
  • Use TARA to generate content that is misleading, defamatory, or harmful

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

You retain all ownership rights to your data. We do not sell, share, or use your analytics data for any purpose other than providing the Service to you. We do not use your data to train AI models for other customers.

You may delete all your data at any time from your account settings.

8. Google Analytics Integration

PressAnalytica accesses your Google Analytics data through Google's official OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. We request read-only access to your GA4 property. You can revoke this access at any time from your PressAnalytica account settings or from your Google account permissions page.

Our use of Google user data complies with Google's API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

9. TARA AI Assistant

TARA (The AI Reporting Assistant) provides AI-generated insights based on your analytics data. While we strive for accuracy, TARA's responses are generated by AI and may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies. You should verify important data-driven decisions independently.

Usage limits may apply and are set out in the written terms agreed for your install. Unused allowances do not roll over.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, documentation, and branding, is owned by PressAnalytica and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other brand features.

You retain ownership of all content and data you provide through the Service.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any AI-generated insights or recommendations.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PressAnalytica shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PressAnalytica, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

14. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes that affect your use of the Service.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.
